who we are and how we got here.....
Hello, welcome to our page and thank you for checking out our beautiful Glendo getaways. who doesn't love Glendo, WY!?!
That is what brought us here fulltime! We were both born and raised in Colorado (Lakewood & Littleton), we are highschool sweethearts, and raised our 2 boys out in the eastern plains, Watkins, CO. Colorado outgrew us and we had to get away to a simpler life, and we said, "why not our happy place?".
When our boys were small, we would come to Glendo in the 5th wheel at least twice a year. In 2013, we bought a trailer up at the Marina and loved coming to Glendo every weekend, it was so hard to go back to Colorado on Sundays. So in 2018, when our youngest son graduated H.S., we decided to downsize and make life easier with less population and move to Glendo FT. Don't get me wrong, we love people, we hate traffic!
Tim finished building our beautiful barndominium in 2019. We built a small, cozy, 2 bedroom home for us, and a large garage because gosh, who doesn't need a big garage! We wanted to build another living quarter on the other side for when our boys & their family come to visit, along with our other family/friends. Well, life is busy and so they are not able to visit as much as we would like, so we decided to rent it out to other families that are able to enjoy Glendo in a ‘Home away from Home’ setting.

Fast forward to 2021, Tim built two more homes directly behind our primary home. We call them His, Hers and Ours. Ours we decorated together, which in a nutshell was miserable. If anyone has ever built a home ground up with their spouse, and never had an argument/disagreement, hands down to you all. It tested our marriage (in a joking way), but we decided that if we were building 2 more homes, there is no way that we were going to do that again. So…..Tim decorated his, and Michelle did the same for hers. Hence, the His, Hers and Ours for the house names.
